Hi There!
Hi! I am Chrystl. I have been photographing weddings and portraits for eleven years now. It is my passion to be behind the camera and document life as it happens. I have a BA from Columbia College Chicago with about 14 years of experience with photographing families. I am a firm believer in capturing life as it is and that means I love candids and letting a photo session play out as it happens naturally. With kiddos this is an important variable because sometimes you never know how it is going to go! I also love capturing weddings and events for all special stages in life. I can’t wait to capture all stages of life for you and your loved ones.
A Little Bit About Me
I am a lover of all things photography but mostly about how it is a way to tell stories. I have been married for 9 years to my wonderful husband who is a restauranteur. We are both creative and love to design spaces together. I have two sons they are 3 and 1 and they certainly keep me on my toes. Most of my days are spent trying to keep up with their little wonderful selves. But mostly I love seeing the world through their eyes it has changed my perspective on life and I believe being a mother has made me a better photographer.
Most importantly I have been saved by grace. I am thankful for this gift I have been given and for the opportunity to meet and photograph so many wonderful people. Kindness matters. This is my mission to my kids so we can create a better world for them and everyone. I cannot wait to meet you and tell your story through imagery!
